The linked charge of the Church of Scotland, made up of the Church of Scotland, Geneva and Scots Kirk Lausanne, is looking for an Associate Minister to lead the life, work and witness of the historic English-speaking Church of Scotland, Geneva.

The minister of the linkage is based in Lausanne and mainly serves the congregation in
Lausanne. This position, for the Church of Scotland, Geneva, with the title of “Associate
Minister”, will mainly serve the congregation in Geneva.

The selected candidate will be employed locally on a Swiss contract and will work as a
member of the ministry team along with the Minister of the linked charge, based in
Lausanne, and the Ordained Local Minister (OLM) over the full range of parish ministry, and mission and outreach activities.

Role description

Title: Associate Minister of the linked charge of Church of Scotland, Geneva and Scots Kirk Lausanne
Location: Geneva
Responsible to: The Minister of the linked charge of Church of Scotland, Geneva and
Scots Kirk Lausanne
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Main responsibilities

  • Celebration of the Sacraments – the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) and Baptism;
  • Preaching and the conduct of worship;
  • Moderating meetings of the Geneva Kirk Session, which has responsibility for the
    spiritual issues within the congregation, and guiding the Session in its discussions;
  • Conducting funerals and offering pastoral support to those who are dying and to
    people who have been bereaved;
  • Conducting blessing of weddings that have taken place according to Swiss law and
    helping people prepare for marriage;
  • Conducting confirmation classes;
  • Providing ministry, including pastoral care, that is not exclusive to membership of the
    Church within the wider community of Geneva.

Outreach and Mission

  • Lead and develop strategies to introduce new people to the gospel and draw them
    into the life of the church.
  • Build relationships with people in the wider community through personal evangelism,
    community engagement, and partnerships.
  • Encourage, train, and empower church members for outreach, mission and personal
    witness.
  • Develop pathways for newcomers from first contact to active membership.

Congregational Revitalisation

  • Work with the Minister, the OLM, and the Kirk Sessions to foster spiritual growth,
    unity, and renewed vision within the congregations.
  • Encourage healthy discipleship through small groups, pastoral visitation, and
    teaching.
  • Support the integration of new members into the life and ministry of the church.
  • Help identify and develop existing and emerging leaders.
  • Contribute creatively to the renewal of church life, particularly in pastoral care,
    worship participation, and community life.
  • Enhance the children’s ministry, building on the existing Sunday School.

Qualifications & experience

The candidate must:

  • be a passionate shepherd of people, with a proven track record of working within,
    developing and leading teams, and growing initiatives.
  • embody an integrity of faith and life, with Christ-like values and attitudes.
  • be a strong, authentic communicator capable of relating Biblical truths in meaningful,
    practical, and creative ways.
  • hold at minimum a university bachelor’s degree in theology or divinity from an
    accredited institution.
  • preferably have a minimum of 5 years in a lead ministry context.

Language

English (fluent) – The working language is English. Non-Swiss/EU/EEA candidates are
required, for work permits reasons, to have beginner level French.

Compensation and Benefits:

La Paroisse protestante Rive droite (PPRD) et l’Espace Saint‑Gervais (ESG) recherchent un·e chargé·e de communication pour accompagner leur mission et renforcer leur visibilité auprès du public. Les deux entités collaborant étroitement, le poste couvre des activités transversales au service de leurs projets culturels et paroissiaux.

Vos missions

Rattaché·e au coordinateur musical de l’ESG et au conseiller de la PPRD en charge de la communication, vous prenez en charge l’ensemble des actions de communication, notamment :

Création et diffusion

  • Coordination avec le graphiste pour la réalisation des supports (affiches, flyers, programmes, etc.).
  • Réservation de campagnes publicitaires et/ou d’affichage.
  • Suivi de la distribution des flyers et affiches en collaboration avec le secrétariat.

Communication digitale

  • Mise à jour régulière des sites internet.
  • Rédaction et envoi des newsletters mensuelles.
  • Rédaction de communiqués de presse.
  • Gestion des réseaux sociaux (Facebook et Instagram).

Coordination et organisation

  • Collaboration avec le secrétariat pour l’impression des programmes des cultes et/ou concerts.
  • Participation à la planification de la saison de concerts avec le coordinateur musical.

COLLABORATEUR.TRICE EN DEVELOPPEMENT AGRICOLE, FORMATION ET ACCOMPAGNEMENT SPIRITUEL

Le service chrétien d’appui à l’animation rurale (Secaar), basé à Lomé (Togo), est un réseau de 18 d’Églises et d’organisations actif dans dix pays d’Afrique francophone, ainsi qu’en France et en Suisse. Le travail du Secaar s’articule autour de trois axes stratégiques : la promotion du développement holistique, le développement des capacités institutionnelles des membres du réseau et l’amélioration de la qualité des services offerts par le Secaar. La notion de développement holistique est vulgarisée au travers d’activités de sensibilisation et de formation, d’actions de promotion de l’agroécologie en faveur des organisations membres, d’ateliers de formation et de capitalisation d’expériences.

Dans le cadre du développement de la ferme pédagogique agroécologique du Secaar, DM recherche un.e :

COLLABORATEUR.TRICE EN DÉVELOPPEMENT AGRICOLE,
FORMATION ET ACCOMPAGNEMENT SPIRITUEL

Mission/tâches :

  • Apporter un regard externe, en fonction de ses propres expériences, sur l’offre de la
    ferme pédagogique
  • Contribuer, selon compétences, au développement de l’offre agricole, pédagogique
    et/ou spirituelle
  • Analyser et mettre en place un cahier de formation (à la carte, pour les paysan.nes,
    pour d’autres acteur.trices du milieu agricole, etc.)
  • Collaborer à faire connaître l’offre de la ferme école au Togo et au-delà

Profil :

  • Formation ou intérêt confirmé dans l’un des domaines suivants : agriculture,
